Content Marketing & PR Manager - Gaming Specialist (Casino, Bingo and Poker)
Intro
Press Box PR is one of the fastest-growing PR agencies with a specialism in the gaming industry, working for a range of household names through to innovative start-ups in the casino, poker and bingo verticals on a wide range of content marketing, PR and brand projects.
Reporting into the Managing Director and Founder, you will work closely with other senior stakeholders in the business to develop and deliver the PR and content marketing proposition for clients in the casino, bingo and poker verticals, principally in the UK market.
This newly created role will reward someone with specialist knowledge of and enthusiasm for all things gaming, especially in terms of how operator brands and affiliates carry out brand-building, content marketing and earned PR activity in today’s market.
Don’t worry if your experience or interest covers one or two verticals (casino/bingo/poker) more so than the others - some relevant experience and a willingness to learn is key.
The role
The successful candidate will own all key areas of the strategy, from campaign and content creation through to media pitching as well as an opportunity to work directly with clients and grow department revenues.
They will be given creative freedom to deliver compliant, engaging and media-worthy PR campaigns that tap into a range of talent, creative and content avenues with varying gaming brands, products and messages at their core.
Detailed knowledge of the sector including its marketing, PR, content and communication strategies is a must, as well as an appreciation and understanding of the customer, with knowledge of compliance and responsible gambling frameworks also essential.
Direct PR or journalism experience working on consumer-facing or B2B activity for casino, bingo and/or poker brands in the UK, either at an operator, affiliate or within an agency is a bonus.
The role could suit a marketer or creative who has been adjacent to great work in the above departments, with a knowledge of the industry being the most important aspect.
The successful candidate must be a proactive self-starter who can work independently as well as with stakeholders at all levels, including internal creative functions, client-facing teams and senior management.
Whilst the role’s immediate success will largely be determined by campaign creation and execution, the successful candidate will also work on the growth of the department and service, joining pitches, seeking new business and attending varying client, media and conference events outside of the UK, being given the support and budget to grow a network and profile within the industry.
Ideally the successful candidate will be able to spend time in our London office on a weekly basis but candidates with exceptional relevant PR experience who are based in the UK or further afield and can spend time in London on regular basis will be considered.
